Beef industry leader Eliza Borchardt selected for inaugural GenAngus Future Leaders Program

For Eliza Borchardt, being picked to attend the inaugural GenAngus Future Leaders Program is an opportunity that will keep giving for the next year.

Eliza Borchardt from Tara has been selected to participate in the inaugural GenAngus Future Leaders Program, a leadership program designed by Angus Youth in its Strategic Alliance with Achmea, Australia’s specialist farm insurer.

Ms Borchardt is one of twelve future beef industry leaders selected for inaugural GenAngus Future Leaders Program and will attend a three-day intensive workshop from 20-22 February 2019 in Sydney, as well as a 12-month leadership journey.

The workshop will cover a wide range of topics including business financials, beef business networking, mindset, beef supply chain, risk and liability and succession planning.

The presentations, designed to challenge participants, will be hosted by a series of industry professionals from a diverse range of backgrounds.

To ensure continued growth and development, there will mentoring supplied to the participants over a twelve-month period.

Through a multi-year Strategic Alliance with Angus Australia, specialist farm insurer Achmea is delighted to support the inaugural GenAngus Future Leaders Program.

Mrs Borchardt was one of 12 beef industry representatives from across Australia and New Zealand chosen to take part in the inaugural GenAngus Future Leaders Program in Sydney last week, put on by Angus Youth and farm insurer Achmea.
