Being able to get out on-farm was the hook that lured Mark Gaetani into a role as Farm Insurance Specialist with Achmea Australia.
That, and being able to offer a unique approach to farm insurance.
Mark has lived and worked in Tasmania his whole life, spending over 30 years in the banking sector with 10 years specialising in agribusiness for some of the state’s most significant agricultural companies.
“The idea of getting out on farm in an agribusiness role really appealed to me, as did being able to assist farmers in protecting their assets and their livelihoods with farm specific insurance products,” Mark said.
“I think the networks I’ve developed over the last 15 years, will be extremely valuable going forward, that, coupled with my knowledge, understanding and genuine love of the industry.”
Mark is based in Launceston and services Tasmania’s north east north west.
