Helen Gowers, our local Farm Insurance Specialist for farmers in the Mallee Sunraysia region, began her career in agriculture in her teens, picking grapes. This hands-on experience gave Helen an appreciation for the hard work, resilience, and unpredictability of farming.
Having grown up in Mildura, Helen is connected to the local community and has spent the past several years teaching at one of the local high schools. Helen’s strength is building lasting relationships and developing an understanding of the families and people who make up the region.
Helen is dedicated to supporting rural communities, taking a simple, practical approach: listening first and understanding that every farm is unique.
Outside of work, Helen is a proud mum of three teenagers and an active member of the local community. On weekends, you’ll often find Helen chasing the families’ hot air balloon around the countryside, a hobby that keeps her connected to the land.
