Laurence Rogers

Born and raised in Dubbo, New South Wales, Laurence Rogers has an intimate understanding of the region he now covers as a Farm Insurance Specialist with Achmea Australia.

Throughout his teenage years, Laurence’s school holidays were spent working on farms as a general labourer and preparing Angus stud cattle for shows. After graduating high school, an interest in finance led him to start his career in the agricultural banking sector, where he worked at Rabobank. Laurence became a qualified financial adviser and spent 10 years working as a life insurance specialist, before moving into mortgage broking.

When the opportunity arose to join Achmea Australia in a role that would allow him to combine his skills and passion for insurance and agriculture, Laurence recognised his calling.

“My aim is to keep our region strong,” Laurence said. “It’s my role to ensure farmers can keep farming even when things don’t go to plan, through being adequately protected.”

Outside of work, Laurence has a keen interest in history and classic cars and enjoys living in Wongarbon, just outside of Dubbo.
