Sheriden Palmer brings a wealth of experience and a deep personal connection to agriculture and finance in her role as a Farm Insurance Specialist at Achmea Farm Insurance. Having grown up on a farm with stud cattle, sheep, horses, and broad acre cropping, she offers an understanding of the farming lifestyle and the challenges faced by those in the industry. Sheriden has six years of experience in banking and a year as an insurance broker, giving her a strong financial background to support clients.
Sheriden is dedicated to helping farmers so that they choose the insurance that is right for their farm to protect their livelihoods.
Sheriden focuses on the Riverina region, known for its diverse and productive agriculture. She has a solid understanding of the area’s farming practices and opportunities, from broadacre farming to nut and fruit orchards, cotton crops, and livestock.
Meeting new people is one of Sheriden’s favourite aspects of the role. By fostering open communication and asking the right questions, Sheridan offers a personal approach to farm insurance. She enjoys forming relationships and hearing the stories of those within the farming community.
Outside of work, Sheriden has a creative side, maintaining and designing gardens, and she enjoys horse riding and spending time with her two dogs. A proud mum of three teenagers who are also involved in farming, she understands the importance of family and community in rural life.
