Privacy

Protecting your privacy and your personal information is important to us, as it is fundamental to the way we conduct business. Achmea Australia (ABN 86 158 237 702, AFSL 433 984) is bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (“Act”) and the Australian Privacy Principles set out in that Act.

You may choose not to provide us with your personal information. However, if you do not provide this information, your entry will not be valid. Any personal information you give us will be treated in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Each entrant consents to their personal information given on this form being disclosed by Achmea Australia to its related companies within the Achmea Group and associated companies of Achmea for the purposes of running this competition and for marketing purposes, including marketing by electronic means. Some of the third parties may be overseas, most likely in the Netherlands. If the entrant chooses not to provide their personal information to us, the entrant will not be eligible to win the Competition. If you give us personal information about other people, we rely on you to tell them that you will provide their information to us and of the information in this notice. We may also use the information for our business purposes as reasonably necessary.

If entrants do not want their information to be used for marketing purposes, entrants may contact Achmea Australia on 1800 724 214. You may access a copy of our privacy statement from the download section of our website www.achmea.com.au, it contains information about how a person may:

• obtain access to information Achmea Australia holds about the person;
• seek correction of any such information;
• lodge a complaint about the way Achmea Australia has handled a person’s personal information or that Achmea Australia has breached the Australian Privacy Principles; and how Achmea Australia deal with such complaints.

Terms and Conditions 

1. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of these Terms and Conditions. If there is any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any other published material, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail. 
2. Entry into the Promotion is open to residents of Western Australia, South Australia, New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Tasmania and Northern Territory aged 18 years and older who have completed and submitted an online ‘Farm Fit Insurance Test’ form on the Promoter’s website during the Competition Period. Multiple entries are not permitted. One entry per person. Entrants may only enter in their own name. Entry forms must be submitted online. The Promoter will not accept any forms that are posted or emailed.
3. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of these Terms and Conditions. If there is any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any other published material, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

5. The Competition runs from 09:00 AEST on 28 November 2024 with entries closing at 11:59pm AEST on 28 March 2025 (“Competition Period”). The winner will be drawn at Australia Square Plaza, L11/95 Pitt St, Sydney NSW 2000 on 31 March 2025 between 9am-3pm. 
6. Each entrant can only enter the competition once.
7. Entry into the competition is open during the Competition Period for persons who satisfy the following eligibility requirements: 
   • Australian residents over 18 years of age at the time of submission during the Competition Period. 
   • Is not an employee, director of Achmea Australia or its related entities, retailers or suppliers, or of the families of such employee or director. Family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child, stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin; and 
   • Who during the Competition Period: (i) completes and submits the ‘Farm Fit Insurance Test’ Form, providing name, post code and contact details during the Competition Period. 
8. There will be ten (10) prizes to win one of ten (10) $500 EFTPOS cards. The Promoter is (only) obliged to use its best endeavours to provide the prize as listed. If the prize or a portion of the prize is unavailable, the Promoter will at its absolute discretion, where possible, provide an alternative prize or portion of the prize of equivalent value. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. 
9. All entry forms must be correctly completed to the Promoter’s satisfaction, otherwise they may be deemed void.  No late entries will be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
10. The winners will be selected by random draw and will be notified by email or phone by 4 April 2025. The Promoter will post or email the prize to the winners’ nominated address (Australia only).
11. The Promoter is not responsible for any losses, damages to or delays in delivery of prizes caused or contributed to by a third party. If a winner does not respond within three business days of receiving a phone call and email from the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the Prize. The Promoter will hold the prize and permit the winner to claim the prize for up to 30 calendar days from the date of the draw, after which another draw will be held to determine a new winner.
12. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
13. If for any reason whatsoever beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Competition is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated, including due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, the Promoter reserves the right, subject to written directions from State Regulatory bodies, in its sole discretion, to suspend, modify, or terminate this Competition or disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. 
14. The Promoter reserves the right at any time, and without prior notice to modify, cancel or remove this Promotion and the materials associated with it.
15. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability, which cannot be excluded by law. 
16. The Promoter will not be responsible for any incorrect, inaccurate, or incomplete information communicated in the course of or in connection with this Competition if the deficiency is occasioned by any cause outside the reasonable control of the Promoter. 
17. The Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Each entrant irrevocably agrees that the courts of New South Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any action, proceedings or disputes which may arise out of or in connection with the Competition or these Terms and Conditions.
