Michelle Stevens brings more than 25 years of experience in financial services and insurance to her role as Regional Manager Victoria and Tasmania. With agriculture forming part of her story from an early age, she has a genuine understanding of regional Australia and the people who live and work there.
Raised on a mixed farming property between Finley and Tocumwal in southern New South Wales, Michelle grew up surrounded by potatoes, rice, cattle, sheep and cropping. She later managed her own farming enterprise near Jerilderie, giving her firsthand experience of life on the land.
Michelle values the relationships that sit at the heart of farming communities and enjoys spending time getting to know the people behind the businesses. Her connection to agriculture, combined with insurance experience, helps her bring a practical and grounded perspective to her role.
As Regional Manager Victoria and Tasmania, Michelle focuses on building strong relationships and supporting her team to deliver consistent service for clients across the region.
“Farming is more than an industry, it’s a way of life. Being part of an organisation that supports farmers and regional communities is something I’m incredibly proud of,” Michelle said.
