Have you considered the impact of inflation on your farm insurance?
Inflation is impacting the agricultural industry, driving up the cost of farming equipment, building materials and labour. If your insurance policy is not updated regularly to keep pace with these increases, you may find yourself underinsured. At the time of a claim, if your cover falls short of the actual replacement cost of your assets, you may have to pay out of your own pocket to make up the difference. In this video, from our ‘Keeping Farmers Farming’ series, Achmea Australia Farm Insurance Specialist Gerard Bennett explains further how inflation may put you at risk of being underinsured, and why it is essential to keep your farm insurance up to date.

How Achmea started over 200 years ago
More than two centuries ago, 39 farmers established Achmea in the Netherlands to support each other and minimise the risks faced by each other’s farms, not just their own.
