A graduate of the WA College of Agriculture Denmark, Alec Jones has diverse skills and knowledge in mixed farming and an ongoing connection with the community of Albany, Western Australia.
Combined with several years of experience in the insurance industry, Alec is now supporting agribusinesses across the Albany and Great Southern region as one of our Farm Insurance Specialists.
“Having grown up around farms and with an agriculture school education, my goal has always been to find a role that supports the agricultural sector,” Alec said.
“Since first starting out in the insurance industry, I have wanted to take on a role where I can get out on-farm, boots on the ground and support farmers first-hand. I was drawn to Achmea Australia’s direct approach to insurance, so when the opportunity came up for the role of Farm Insurance Specialist with Achmea Australia, I jumped at it.”
For Alec, living and working in and around Albany is a blessing. “It is an area I truly love, there is nowhere I would rather be,” he said.
